The family, We were a strange little band of characters trudging through life sharing diseases and toothpaste, coveting one another’s desserts, hiding shampoo, borrowing money, locking each other out of our rooms, inflicting pain and kissing to heal it in the same instant, loving, laughing, defending, and trying to figure out the common thread that bound us all together. ~Erma Bombeck
Sometimes I forget how lucky I am to have people who love me in my life… then I come home to see my family and best friends. This past weekend was amazing. One of my best friend’s hosted a beautiful, boutique-like, Christmas party for my accessory site. The setup was exquisite – with deep reds, dark browns, dazzling ambers, and vivid yellows. She wrapped my belts around vibrant pillows, hung scarves from the chandeliers, and had wrought iron bird cages filled with my bracelets and cuffs. We had TONS of food thanks to my mom and cute cupcakes thanks to my sister.
The turnout was way more than expected and I was wiped out of all my inventory! At 2:30 in the morning my best friend and I finally fell asleep after attempting to watch an episode of Ghost Hunters.
This quote reminds me of my friend Lily
Friends are God’s apology for relations. ~Hugh Kingsmill
I am driving back to LA today. Hope you all having a wonderful December with your loved ones!
